The Pelham Fire Department would like notify residents that a recall on house smoke alarms has been issued by Health Canada for alarms manufactured between September 10, 2016 and October 13, 2017. The smoke alarms have a pill shaped design on the front of them and involve two models (PI2010CA and PI9010CA) which is displayed on the back of the unit.
If your property has been damaged as a result of Town winter operations, specifically that of the sidewalk plowing operations, please notify the Town to ensure your property is on the list for repair this spring; repairs are not carried out prior to spring unless a critical safety hazard has been created.. Throughout the year, the Town, along with the contractor of sidewalk plowing, compile a list of owners who file a complaint about sidewalk plow damage.

As the winds and recurring drifting conditions continued to be a problem, town crews have been working long hours attempting to keep the drifting snow under control and roads open. We are hoping with upcoming warm weather, we will get a reprieve from the blowing and drifting.
