Watermain break - Pelham Street and Quaker Road

Please note that there has been a watermain Break at the intersection of Pelham Street and Quaker Road.

To allow the Town to make the necessary emergency repairs the East Bound Lane of Quaker Road between Pelham Street and Line Avenue will be closed to traffic.

The Town's public works department has made every effort to notify affected residences, however due to the number of homes involved it was difficult to speak with everyone.

The areas that will be without water for the duration of the break are Pelham Street – Bacon Lane to the Welland Border, Quaker Road – Pelham to Claire Avenue, and Claire Avenue.

The shutdown will commence as soon as a contractor is onsite and will continue until a repair can be made later this afternoon or this evening.

We ask for patience as we are working hard to get the water back up and running.
