UPDATE: Pelham Street reconstruction between College Street and Port Robinson Road date change
Please be advised of a change in schedule for the Pelham Street Reconstruction (Phase 1) project.
The reconstruction of Pelham Street from College Street to Port Robinson Road to improve existing infrastructure and facilitate stormwater management initially scheduled to begin November 9, 2020, outlined in letters delivered to homeowners, will now begin October 30, 2020, with the removal of asphalt.
On November 2, 2020, reconstruction work begins.
With the variability of the weather and the upcoming end of the construction season, the project’s completion is critical. It will benefit all those traveling the area by being completed earlier than originally scheduled.
Equipment for this work is being moved into the area today. Crews will make the area safe for pedestrians, ramping any uneven areas requiring such work. Access to all properties will be maintained.
Town staff and the project consultant are available to meet with residents about any concerns regarding work adjacent to their properties.
The Town apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
