UPDATE: Gypsy moth aerial spray program

UPDATE: June 10: The 2019 gypsy moth spray program is complete. The second application was applied early morning on Sunday, June 9. Field inspections are scheduled for the coming week to assess the effectiveness of the spraying. 

UPDATE: June 5 (#2): Trees Unlimited has informed the Town that the second application for the gypsy moth aerial spray program is scheduled for Sunday, June 9, between 5:45 a.m. and 7 a.m. As always, this is dependent on the weather. Check www.pelham.ca/gypsy-moth for more information

UPDATE: June 5 (#1): Gypsy moth spraying will NOT occur today, Wednesday, June 5, due to the weather forecast. The second application for urban areas will occur later this week. Visit www.pelham.ca/gypsy-moth for more information and updates as they become available.

UPDATE: June 3: The second application of the gypsy moth aerial spray program is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 5 - weather pending. The anticipation is that the aircraft will spray the areas in identified spray blocks earlier than the first application (9:30 a.m.) though a precise time is not known. Please visit: www.pelham.ca/gypsy-moth for up-to-date information. Updates to the time and date change (if required) will be posted there first. 

UPDATE: May 31: The first application of the gypsy moth aerial spray program is complete. The second application will take place the week of June 3. The date and time is pending and will be updated on the Town's website and social media pages as soon as the information is available.

May 30: The first application of the gypsy moth aerial spray program will occur Friday, May 31, at approximately 9:30 a.m. This time has been pushed back from the original estimated time of 5:30 a.m. For up-to-date information and more details on the aerial spray program, visit: www.pelham.ca/gypsy-moth
