Town of Pelham job fair to highlight community centre employment opportunities

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham, looking to fill several position at the new Meridian Community Centre, is hosting a job fair at Town Hall (Pelham Municipal Building) on Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The community centre, opening this summer, will see some current staff transition to the facility, however, there is still a need for customer service representatives, rink attendants, custodians, and event support staff.

“This is an exciting time in Pelham and an exciting time to join the Pelham team,” said Paula Gilbert, director of human resources. “We’re looking for people who share our vision and dedication in ensuring Pelham is a preferred place to work and live. With so much buzz about the community centre, I have no doubt we’ll have some tough choices to make.”

Designed to be part informal meet and greet and part formal interview, those who come to the job fair will have an opportunity to learn more about the community centre and working for the Town and, be interviewed for the position of their choice.

Attendees should bring a copy of their resume.
