Town of Pelham aligns with updated Provincial requirements in roadmap exit steps

Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham continues to adjust offerings to align with the gradual ease of COVID-19 restrictions in Ontario and the Provincial Roadmap Exit Steps. 

As of March 1, 2022, the Meridian Community Centre (MCC) will be fully open to the general public. All visitors will be required to screen for symptoms of COVID-19 upon entry to the facility. While moving within the facility, visitors are required to wear a mask that covers the nose, mouth, and chin. Proof of vaccination is no longer needed for entry to the MCC. Residents can access recreation offered through the arenas, walking track, classes, workshops, and programs. Town of Pelham municipal buildings continue to be open to the public, and staff are available to assist the public, Monday - Friday, 8:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in person, by phone at 905-892-2607 or by email.

Pelham residents are encouraged to:

  • Practice good hand hygiene and wash hands frequently.
  • Wear a mask covering your nose, mouth and chin in public spaces.
  • Stay home if you are feeling unwell or have COVID-19 symptoms.
