Temporary Road Closure: 2024 Church Street culvert replacement

Where: Church Street between Sumbler Road and Chantler Road.

Why: Replacement of the existing reinforced concrete culvert and footings.

When: Beginning Monday, July 15, 2024 with anticipated completion in the fall of 2024.

Project Scope: The project will include the construction of new reinforced concrete apron walls, new cast-in-place reinforced concrete box culvert, new concrete wing walls, installation of rip-rap and new asphalt as well as the installation of new steel beam guiderail along the west side of the roadway.

Local access to Church Street will be provided for residents. 

Additional notice will be provided to impacted residents by the contractor, Rankin Construction. The contract administrator for the project who will also be completing inspection is Ellis Engineering.
