Strategic Plan 2019-2022 now available online

Earlier this month Pelham Town Council adopted a strategic plan focusing on working together with the community to strengthen trust and enhance the quality of life and economic well-being for Pelham residents today and the future.

During the current term of Council, staff will carry out actions tied to each of Council’s six identified priorities: support a strong organization, ensure financial sustainability, enhance communication and engagement, build strong communities and cultural assets, develop a risk management framework to prioritize decisions, and grow revenue by promoting our cultural assets while protecting our environmental assets.

The strategic plan also outlines the values that strengthen the Town’s culture, focusing on honesty, caring, respect, transparency, trustworthiness, and teamwork.

Council, along with senior staff, held three days of strategic planning sessions, developing a document containing measurable goals and performances, while leaving room for review and adjustments as required.

Throughout the term of Council, staff will update Council on the accomplishments, successes, and milestones that are mapped in the plan.
