Sanitary sewer flushing and CCTV update

Sanitary sewer flushing and CCTV works will begin in Pelham on September 15 and will be completed by approximately October 23, 2020. Flusher and camera trucks will be in various locations throughout the Town as they complete the work.

• When: September 15 - October 23, 2020, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, depending on weather conditions. Heavy rains may cause some delays.
• Where: Various locations throughout the Town as required.
• What: Flusher and camera trucks will be cleaning and videoing the sanitary sewers to clear away debris, blockages, and inspect sewer conditions. Please expect some delays while these trucks complete the work.
• Why: Regular sewer flushing and CCTV reduces the likelihood of built-up debris and blockages, residential back-ups and allows the Town the assess the conditions of sewers to assist in decision making for future maintenance and repair works.
