Temporary Road Closure

Motorists and the general public are hereby advised that Regional Road 20 (Hwy 20) from Silverdale Road to Victoria Avenue in the Township of West Lincoln and Victoria Avenue to Balfour Street in the Town of Pelham will be temporarily closed to through traffic on an alternate basis, block by block, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting.

The road closure is necessary to pave the road surface on Regional Road 20 (Hwy 20) from Silverdale Road to Balfour Street.

The detour route for the closure is as follows:

Township of West Lincoln Construction Zone:

Regional Road 20 (HWY 20) from Silverdale Road to Regional Road 24 (Victoria Avenue)

The detour will be:

Regional Road 27 [Wellandport Road/Regional Road 63 (Canborough Road)/Regional Road 24 (Victoria Avenue)]

Town of Pelham Construction Zone:

Regional Road 20 (HWY 20) from Regional Road 24 (Victoria Avenue) to Balfour Street

The detour will be:

Regional Road 24 (Victoria Avenue)/Regional Road 29 (Webber Avenue)/Regional Road 36 (South Pelham Road)/Regional Road 41 (Woodlawn Road)/Regional Road 50 (Niagara Street/Merrittville Hwy)

Businesses and residents will have access during the closure but may be directed to take an alternate route to get to their destination.

Emergency services will also have access if required.
