River Estates Park opens to the public

Neighbourhood parks promote community wellness, provide a place to connect with neighbours, and provide accessible, inclusive access to recreation. 

The newest park in the Pelham network, River Estates is open to the public. River Estates Park is an accessible neighbourhood park in East Fonthill. The park includes a playground area, personal fitness amenities and a cool mister, the first water feature in a neighbourhood park in Pelham.  

River Estates Park is located on Bergenstein Crescent.

In the spring of 2021, the park space was part of an online community engagement project for feedback on the future design. The project details can be found at https://engagingpelham.ca/river-estates-park-development
