Ride to Conquer Cancer rolls through Pelham this weekend

On June 8 and 9, the Ride to Conquer Cancer will see cyclists navigate the celebrated cycling terrain in Pelham.

Beginning June 8 around 9:35 a.m. riders will hit Metler Road and make their way through a pre-determined route. Riders will exit Pelham roads sometime around 1 p.m.

On June 9, Maple Street will welcome riders around 8:30 a.m., cycle the route, and exit Pelham sometime around 3 p.m.

The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a two-day charity bike ride between Toronto and Niagara Falls benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Center. Last year the event raised over $18.3 million dollars and had 4,555 riders. This year similar rider participation rates are expected, with over 900 volunteers and crew members.

When you see cyclists on the roads please exercise caution and allow as much space as possible to ensure the safety of all.
