Regional Transit Service Public Opinion Survey

Help Niagara Region create better transit service for the future

Niagara Region is conducting a public opinion survey on Niagara Region Transit and is looking to hear from you! Whether you use Niagara Region Transit every day, once in a while or not at all, your opinion is important to us. By participating in this survey, you'll have a hand in moving transit forward.

Niagara Region will be conducting the survey betwen July 29 and August 16. Survey responses will be collected through the Niagara Region website at niagararegion.ca/transit and in person by staff at various locations across the community.

The survey will ask for your opinion regarding Niagara Region Transit in a number of areas, including:

  • Service levels (i.e. frequency and routes)
  • Satisfaction with the service
  • What features you would like the service to include
  • Why you do or do not ride Niagara Region Transit

The purpose of the survey is to gather feedback from the community to aid in a review of the Niagara Region Transit service, identify opportunities to expand or add additional services and develop communications and marketing strategies.

Niagara Region Transit is operate by Niagara Region in partnership with transit operators in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Welland. It currently provides service to the communities of Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Port Colborne, St. Catharines, Thorold and Welland. Riders can travel between these communities on Niagara Region Transit for work, school, shopping, recreation and more.
