Recruitment for election workers

Pelham votes 2018

You can make a difference in this year’s municipal and school board election by doing more than just casting your vote.

The Town of Pelham is seeking interested residents to fill various roles during advanced polling and on Election Day.

Positions being hired for are:

  • Poll supervisor
  • Affidavit clerk
  • Vote tabulator operator
  • Deputy Returning Officer
  • Information clerk/greeter
  • Poll clerk (advance polls only)

Election workers play a significant role in their municipality’s election, ensuring the process runs smoothly by greeting and directing voters and verifying important information.

No prior experience is required and training sessions for new and returning workers, including training on what’s new for the 2018 election, such as the direct elect of the Niagara Regional Chair, will be provided.
