Pelham, ON – Get your baskets ready, Pelham’s annual Easter Eggstravaganza is just around the corner, Saturday, April 20, 2019.
Residents are asked to take special note of the location change to this year’s event, now taking place at Centennial Park in Fenwick. The Easter egg hunt will begin at 11 a.m. sharp for all age groups. A bouncy house will be operating from 10:30 a.m. – noon and the Pelham Fire Department will bring a fire truck down to the park.
The event has three hunting areas specified by age group: up to 5 years old, 5-9 years old, and 10-12 years old. Each area will have one “Golden Egg” prize per area. Those who find the Golden Egg will receive a chocolate bunny and $25 in Pelham Bucks.
“This event always brings so much joy to the kids, you can see it on their faces and in their excitement,” said Alison Brown, active living programmer. “This type of event provides a strong sense of place and belonging, and it’s great to see so many people come out enjoying being part of their community.”
After the eggs have been collected and the Easter egg hunt concludes, the Fenwick Lions Club will be hosting a barbeque lunch.
Pelham’s Easter Eggstravaganza is sponsored by the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council, the Fenwick Lions, and Enbridge.
