Pelham fire department ready to engage and educate during Fire Prevention Week
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 4, 2018
Pelham, ON– The Pelham fire department is reminding residents to look, listen, and learn, during this year’s fire prevention week campaign.
From October 7-13, 2018, fire departments nationwide will be meeting, informing, and engaging with residents in efforts to increase the awareness and importance of fire safety.
“It’s something we think will never happen to us – until it does,” said Pelham’s fire prevention officer Will Underwood. “We want to remind everyone that fires can happen anywhere, at any time. I would encourage everyone who has questions to ask us, and not just during fire prevention week. Your fire department is a valuable resource and we are always happy to help.”
