Pelham Arena Lands Co-Design Workshop Part II
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 1, 2017
Pelham, ON – The Town of Pelham is pleased to invite residents to the second workshop on the Pelham Arena Lands Planning Study.
The workshop will begin with a presentation summarizing the results of the evaluation of the five concepts generated, which include input from the June co-design workshop. Residents had an opportunity to review the five concepts through an online survey, and rate the various options. A section for additional comments was also included.
“We received valuable input from the community during the co-design workshops held in June and on the five concepts,” said Barbara Wiens, director of community planning and development. “It is important for the community to be involved in the process and to understand how the concepts were developed from the input received and the evolution to the preferred concept. The outcome of the second workshop, will help determine the preferred concept. Once the preferred concept is established the consultants will prepare design guidelines along with official plan policies and zone standards for Council consideration later this fall.”
The Planning Partnership team will present their emerging preferred concept for the Pelham Arena Lands which will be followed by table group discussions to gather input on the concept.
