Parade passes introduced for the 23rd Annual Pelham Santa Claus parade; now open to Pelham residents
This year's Pelham Santa Claus parade, hosted by the Fabulous Fenwick Lions, will utilize parade passes to facilitate a smooth operation and controlled parade times for the event. The use of passes optimizes the experience by offering specific time slots to attend the parade.
There are limited parade passes available, one per household, for Pelham residents. On December 10, 2020, any remaining parade passes are made available to others.
The reverse parade format flips the traditional parade experience, with floats becoming stationary this year as viewers drive through the route to take in the spirit of the season from their vehicles' warmth and safety.

Parade-goers are to enter Church Street from Foss Road only. The parade is held at Centennial Park in Fenwick, on December 12, 2020, from 1-3:30 p.m.
What is a Parade Pass?
Parade attendees are required to have a Parade Pass for entry into the Parade route. Parade passes are available in limited quantities based on event capacity. Town of Pelham residents can register for a pass starting on December 1, 2020. Open registration begins December 10, 2020, for all other areas. Register here.
What is a "Reverse" Parade?
In this format, the floats become a static display, and spectators instead drive through the route to view the displays from their vehicle's safety.
What type of floats are there?
Local businesses and community groups will have displays instead of traditional floats. They will be along the route that parade attendees will drive by. This year's parade will have fewer participants than usual to allow for physical distancing. There will be a minimum of 12 different displays.
I'm a Local business - can I participate?
Applications are still open for businesses and community groups who would like to display along the route. Please complete an application form. APPLY HERE
How long with the parade take?
We anticipate there will be a line to enter the Parade in Centennial Park. Once a vehicle has passed the parade's start, the displays' expected actual drive will take approximately 10 to 15 min.
I have my Parade Pass; how do I get to Centennial Park?
Please enter Church street by way of Foss Road only. Niagara Regional Police and parade volunteers will be onsite to assist with traffic.
How fast will vehicles be going?
Once vehicles enter the parade route inside Centennial Park, we ask that you maintain a 10km/h speed to ensure our volunteers' safety. Watch for volunteer's directions and keep the distance between vehicles.
Will Santa be there?
Yes! Santa will be part of the parade!
Do I have to stay in my vehicle?
For the safety of our volunteers and community, each participant will need to remain in their vehicle for the Reverse Parade duration. No foot traffic is permitted.
