Notice of Stop Up and Close, Declaration of Surplus Lands and Proposed Sale

Subject Lands: Part of Original Road Allowance between Lots 3 and 4, Concession 14 designated as Part 1 on 59R-15164

Pursuant to the Town of Pelham Sale of Real Property By-law #1942(1997), NOTICE is hereby given of the proposed sale of municipally owned lands.  

At their Special Meeting of Council on July 12, 2022, Council of the Town of Pelham passed the following resolution, with regard to the lands outlined below:

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council direct the Town Clerk to prepare and present a property-specific Stop up and Close and Surplus Land By-Law for Council’s consideration with respect Town owned lands being Part of Original Road Allowance between Lots 3 and 4, Concession 14 designated as Part 1 on 59R-15164  (the “subject lands”);

AND THAT Council direct staff to provide notice the subject lands are to be declared surplus by advertising on the Town’s website;

AND THAT Council direct the Town Clerk to prepare and present for Council’s consideration a By-Law Authorizing the Sale of the subject lands for a sale price of $150,000.  

The lands depicted are subject to sale through an unsolicited offer pursuant to the by-law provisions.  These lands will merge with the abutting lands being 196-206 Webber Road.
