FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 30, 2019
Pelham, ON – In partnership with Cabar Eh Youth Theatre, the Town of Pelham invites teams and families for a morning of improv fun on Saturday, November 16, 2019, from 10 a.m. m- 3 p.m. at the Meridian Community Centre.
The Niagara Improv Festival’s aim is to engage improv groups across the region to compete in friendly competition and the Town of Pelham is pleased to host the upcoming festival.
“We’re seeing it time and again just how important the community centre is to Pelham and Niagara,” said Stephanie Yole, culture and community enhancement programmer. “We’re inviting teams from all over Niagara to join us this November and we’re able to do so thanks to the facility we have in our own backyard. It should be a great festival.”
Aligning with Town Council’s strategic priority of building strong communities and cultural assets, the Niagara Improv Festival at the community centre is made possible through the Niagara Investment in Culture program.
The festival, including age groups from grades 9-12 and adults (19+), is currently seeking more teams to participate. The cost to register a team is $25. Registration forms can be completed by visiting
