“The community has worked hard for many years to design and build this outstanding facility,” said Mayor Dave Augustyn. “We are delighted that this grand opening event will showcase ways in which each of the user groups intend to use the community centre for many years to come. I hope the entire community joins us on September 15 for the open house or at the NHL Alumni game to celebrate the first of many ‘moments that matter’ in our community’s new centre.”

Parking is available at the community centre, however, a free shuttle is offered between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 5 – 10 p.m. from the old Pelham Arena (1120 Haist Street) and Town Hall (20 Pelham Town Square). The shuttle will run the route continuously during these times.  Regular Pelham Transit is also available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at no cost.

The MCC will be closed from 3-5 p.m. as preparations for the NHL Alumni game are conducted.
