NHL Alumni game admission now free

new nhl info

Bring the whole family down to the Accipiter Arena at the Meridian Community Centre for the FREE NHL Alumni Game on Saturday, September 15, from 6-8 p.m.

Admission to the game is now free of charge. Ticket holders who had purchased tickets prior to the change in admission have been contacted and will be fully refunded. As a thank you for their support and understanding, seats reserved as part of the ticket purchase have been saved. General admission seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

Doors for the game open at 5 p.m. and puck drop is 6 p.m.

With similar, free events happening in the Region on the same day, Town Council and staff made the change to admission, allowing greater access to the event for Pelham residents and attendees.

The Alumni team is coached by Walter Gretzky, and will feature the likes of Mark Laforest, Mike Krushelnyski, Bryan Muir, Toddy Harvey, Scott Walker, Mark Napier, and more.

The Alumni will face off against the Pelham Minor Hockey Association coaches, with two periods of game play and one period of a skills competition.
