Interim property tax bills coming due

Interim property tax bills were mailed out earlier this month.

The Town of Pelham is reminding residents that the first property tax payment of 2019 is due Thursday, February 28, 2019. Payments must be made by 4:30 p.m. on the due date regardless of whether a tax bill has been received.

The Town of Pelham offers various payment options, including multiple preauthorized payment plans. These plans allow you to space out payments over a span of 10 or 12 months for residents who prefer to budget monthly payments.

Residents can make payment by debit, cash or cheque at Town Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or at most financial institutions. Outside of the Town’s regular business hours, payments can also be deposited in the drop box located near the Peace Park entrance.

Penalty is charged at a rate of 1.25 percent monthly on the first of each month beginning Friday, March 1.
