Gypsy Moth open house
Residents are invited to an open house hosted by Paul Robertson of Trees Unlimited on Sunday, March 17, from 12-5 p.m. at Old Pelham Town Hall (491 Canboro Road).
The open house will feature information about gypsy moth and spray applications used by Trees unlimited.
This is not a Town-organized open house and all questions resulting from the Open House are to be directed to Paul Robertson.

About Paul Robertson:
As the Forester/Principal Consultant with Trees Unlimited, Paul has provided forestry services to more than 3,500 private, corporate, and public landowners in southern Ontario & has supervised the harvesting of more than one million board feet of timber and firewood per year. TU delivers MFP’s, tree marking, timber sales, vegetation & bird surveys & aerial spraying. We have coordinated the planting of 1.78 million native tree & shrub seedlings as part of a Niagara Peninsula strategic woodland and fragile land restoration program using ecological restoration principles through adaptive management techniques. More than 1,755 acres (710 ha) have been successfully restored to early successional, mid-tolerant mixed woodlands with wetland and prairie/meadow components. TU has also coordinated the aerial treatment of more than 25,000 ac of deciduous forest as part of an integrated pest management program to control the European gypsy moth.
Paul is a founding member of the Niagara Woodlot Association and its President from 2004 to 2007 and 2010 to present & is a past-chair of Land Care Niagara, (the local stewardship program). He was an elected Board member of the Ontario Woodlot Association from 2005 to 2010 & 2014 to the present and on its Executive Board for 2006, 2007 & 2014 to the present.
