Gypsy Moth letters sent to spray block and adjacent homeowners

Residents who are in the gypsy moth aerial spray program spray blocks, and those  adjacent to properties within the spray blocks, will receive letters indicating as much early next week. 

The letters inform residents of pertinent information such as estimated timing of the program, the duration of the program, and how to learn more about the program online. Final spray dates are yet to be determined and are weather dependent. When these dates are known, they will be made available at least 48 hours in advance. 

The areas that have been identified to receive the aerial spray program can be found at www.pelham.ca/gypsy-moth. If your residence is not included (a list of addresses is also available for easier searching), a list of private contractors can also be found on the website. 

Also on the website are home control methods for residents to undertake if they are not in the spray zones.
