How does someone leave their driveway during competition in an urgent situation

The best way to leave your driveway on a race course is to follow these steps:

1) Engage with a marshall to indicate that you must get out of your location on the race course

2) Prepare to leave understanding that you must ALWAYS travel in the same direction as the race

3) Wait for the marshall to give the all clear

4) If you see the race coming behind you, please pull over and do not resume the trip until the full race caravan has passed (wait for the tail car).

5) Should there be an incident (crash) while still behind the caravan, please kindly wait for the incident to clear, DO NOT attempt to pass, or assist marshalls as officials will work to get emergency personnel there if necessary.
