Family Day fun at the MCC - Feb. 17, 2020

Get ready for a full day of fun, free, family activities during the Town of Pelham’s Family Day event at the Meridian Community Centre.

On Monday, February 17, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. families can enjoy a variety of activities, culminating in the popular Golden Boot hockey game, featuring coaches of Pelham Minor Hockey faceoff versus Pelham Firefighters.

A free skate from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. will be available in the Accipiter Arena. At 1 p.m. the Accipiter Arena will host the Golden Boot game sponsored by Peter Pipers Pubhouse.

If you want to swap skates for sneakers, family time in the gym is available from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m hosted by Sportball Niagara. Learn more about Sportball Niagara. 

If you missed it at Summerfest last year, you can catch the BarryO Kid Show at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. in north end of the atrium. Learn more about Barry’s family-friendly, educational show.

Laser tag will be available for children of all ages from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Accursi Room, on the second floor of the MCC. Laser tag is presented by the Mayors Youth Advisory Council.

The community expo, running from 12-2 p.m. is an opportunity for residents to learn more about their community through community booths set up by profit and non-profit organizations within Pelham and the Niagara Region.
