Emergency Road Closure of Sulphur Springs Drive (300m south of Roland Road)
Emergency Road Closure at Sulphur Springs Drive
(from Roland Road to 500m south of Roland Road)
The Town of Pelham is undertaking an emergency repair of Sulphur Springs Drive, approximately 300m south of Roland Road, due to a failure of the road embankment. Based on the current level of erosion it has been determined that the roadway in its current condition is unsafe for vehicular and pedestrian use at this location and has been ordered closed to all traffic by the Director of Public Works. The road closure will take place between Roland Road and approximately 500 m south of Roland Road. Driveway access to properties in the immediate construction zone will not be impacted. It is anticipated that the repair works and road closure will last approximately 2 – 3 weeks.
