Development charge bylaw public meeting

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018 the Council of the Town of Pelham will hold a public meeting, pursuant to Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the Municipality’s proposed development charges bylaw and underlying background study.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed bylaw and background study.

The meeting is to be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers in the Pelham Municipal Building at 20 Pelham Town Square, Fonthill.

In order that sufficient information is made available to the public, the D.C. Background Study is being made available online on the Town’s website: http://www.pelham.ca/en/resources/2018-DC-Report.pdf

Copies of the proposed by-law and the background study are also being made available as of May 17, 2018, by contacting the Town Clerk: njbozzato@pelham.ca or 905-892-2607 x315.

Interested persons may express their comments at the Public Meeting or in writing, addressed to the Town Clerk, at the above address prior to June 13, 2018.
