smoke alarm

The Pelham Fire Department would like notify residents that a recall on house smoke alarms has been issued by Health Canada for alarms manufactured between September 10, 2016 and October 13, 2017.  The smoke alarms have a pill shaped design on the front of them and involve two models (PI2010CA and PI9010CA) which is displayed on the back of the unit.  The hazard is that there may be a yellow cap on the side of the unit which blocks one of the two smoke sensors.  If found, contact Kidde directly for a free replacement unit – 1-833-551-7739.  Please also contact the Pelham Fire Department (905-892-2607 x202) if you have any questions.
