The Town of Pelham 2022 Final Property Tax bill was mailed out on June 9, 2022. Residents that have not received their final tax bill by June 20, 2022, are encouraged to contact the Pelham Tax Department via email at taxes@pelham.ca or by phone at 905-980-6678.

Below are the due dates for the upcoming instalments.

First Instalment: Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 4:30 p.m.

Second Instalment: Friday, September 30, 2022, at 4:30 p.m.

Payments are accepted in the following ways:

  1. Telephone/internet banking or at your financial institution
  2. Cheque payment by mail or drop box
  3. Pre-authorized payment
  4. By credit card through Paymentus - fee applies

Enrolment in the Pre-authorized payment plan is the best way to ensure on-time payments. Residents can take advantage of the five different interest-free, pre-authorized payment options. Pre-authorized payment plans are recalculated twice annually to reflect changes in assessed value and tax rate. A void cheque or pre-authorized debit (PAD) form is required, and accounts must be paid up to date to be eligible to enrol.

Property owners can also avoid penalty charges by ensuring all payments are received by 4:30 p.m. on the due date. Payments made directly through financial institutions must be made in advance of the due date to allow for bank processing time.

Residents are encouraged to review the insert included in the mailing that details frequently asked questions and how Pelham property taxes are spent.
